Raymarine Quantum Chirp Radar Package

Another cracking 4 day deal from West Marine; the new Raymarine Quantum Chirp Radar plus eS78 Multifunction display with Chirp Sounder will be a great safety addition to the old Rogue. Now to figure out what mount system I will use.

Ideally I would like a self leveling mount as the Quantum Radar has an option of either wired or wireless data comms so the cabling is small and flexible compared to classic style radar scanners. I like the manually adjustable mounts but also have my eye on a secondhand Waltz system; more research to be done yet.

I ordered the es78 and quantum radar package from west marine on 5/21/16. Raymarine says it won't ship till June 16.
Anyone else having similar experience.

I ordered 09 Apr and received last Friday. Was one of several backorders same story for the 2 for 1 Lewmar winch offer. Worth the wait.

Was it the same T70261 package thats on their web site? Did it include the power and data cable or just the power cable. Its confusing because there are are three quantum radar models. Wi-Fi only and WiFi or hardware without data cable, and WiFi or hardware with data cable included. I'm hoping it has the option for being hard wired if WiFi is slow or other issues, and not the cheaper wifi only model. How do you like the system so far.

Yes T70261. Radome is E70210 and they are all Wifi with 10 metre Power cable and mounting bolts supplied. Raynet Data Cable is an optional extra purchased separately. Whilst WiFi is great, I will also install data cable as redundancy for lost WiFi passwords, over zealous crew knob tweakers etc. I plan to mount on transom pole but not for some time yet. Could not pass up the price. I note the latest Lighthouse software now has SAR search patterns.
